That does not mean every company needs a massive sonic branding system. Some brands need a short sonic logo. Some need a sung jingle. Some need custom music for a campaign. Some just need to stop using the same stock track as every other business with a Canva account.
A sonic logo is the shortest version of your brand sound. A few seconds. Sometimes musical. Sometimes sung. Sometimes built around a sound effect, rhythm, or vocal tag. It works like an audio signature: quick, repeatable, recognizable.
A jingle does something different. It gives the audience a melody, phrase, or hook they can remember. Done badly, jingles feel cheap. Done well, they do what most ads are desperate to do: stick.
Custom music gives a campaign, podcast, brand video, commercial, or phone system its own atmosphere. It keeps the brand from sounding like it grabbed whatever “upbeat corporate” track came up first.
Music is not decoration. It tells people how to feel before the voice even starts.
